WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Covid-19 Donation Fund
We share the same fears with you, yet we must still respond!
Harleysville Area Emergency Medical Services has dedicated itself to supporting the health & safety of the communities that we proudly serve. There has never been a more critical time to ensure that Harleysville Area EMS is properly equipped, staffed, and ready to help you and your loved ones.
The Coronavirus outbreak has placed a heavy demand on our entire organization, both operationally and financially. To maximize safety for all, we are:
- Purchasing personal protective equipment for our entire staff for a prolonged COVID-19 outbreak
- Training all of our employees and volunteers in high-level isolation and infectious control techniques
- Purchasing decontamination equipment and solutions that work with all of our vehicles and equipment to ensure a safe and clean environment within our ambulances for all of our patients
Our Harleysville Area EMS leadership team has determined that the COVID-19 pandemic and our EMS response to it will Require Large Expenditures in both equipment and staffing over the coming months that WILL NOT be recouped through our normal medical billing.
We’re looking to raise $225,000 for this unprecedented operation. We look to you, the community that we are proud to serve, for assistance and generosity in this time of need.
Few realize that we are a volunteer 501(3)(C) non-profit organization with dedicated career and volunteer staff members and we rely heavily on community support. That’s why we need your help now, so that we can continue to help you tomorrow. Please give today! All donations are tax-deductible.
Help us to be able to continue to help you!
