Harleysville Area EMS is excited to announce a new addition to our
organization. We have started the “Western Montco EMS Training
Institute”. The mission of the training institute is to instruct and prepare
service- oriented community members and first responders for a diverse
and uncertain world. Our team of instructors have been working in the
emergency services for decades as well as educating thousands of
students over the years. We are able to bring real-field emergency
experiences into the classrooms.
Our training institute provides a variety of emergency care training ranging
from community first aid and CPR through professional credentialing
courses such as Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) and Emergency
Medical Technician (EMT). We also provide education to active EMS
providers through continuing education. Free training is also available for
Stop the Bleed and the community administration of Naloxone. Western
Montco EMS Training Institute (WMEMSTI) has ability to customize any
program to meet the needs of the individual or group of individuals.
WMEMSTI believes that by preparing citizens for emergency situations,
they become empowered, confident, proactive and capable to handle a
